Biography

Shawn Richter was born in Brockville in 1974 and grew up reading mostly comics and science fiction and fantasy prose. Although weaned on super-hero yarns of the early 80's, Shawn quickly grew to embrace other genres, not only the aforementioned fantasy and sci-fi, but also crime, horror, war, humour and even romance books.

Drawing for as long as he can remember, Shawn started practicing sequential art around the age of 7. He's been honing his craft even since (despite a torrid love affair with the music business in his 20's) and now has several graphic novels and shorter published works under his belt. Shawn currently lives in Sioux Lookout, ON, with his girlfriend and their cat.
